The Heavy Duty Surface Mount Cast Aluminum Box, HD6000 Type, is a rugged enclosure designed for the most demanding weathertight and watertight installations. Constructed with heavy walled cast aluminum and wide flanges, this box is ideal for submerged environments such as manholes, docks, and sub-stations. Featuring a neoprene type packing gasket, plated steel cap screws, and four mounting lugs, it ensures exceptional durability and protection. Optional extras include drilling and tapping, bosses for five threads, and special gaskets. This box meets Class II, Groups E, F, and G hazardous location standards when equipped with specific accessories.
