Sample Specifications Actuator 0
All Electric actuators shall feature a high efficiency reversing DC Brush-type Class B motor for 12vac/vdc and 24vac/vdc applications, and a split-phase capacitor thermally protected Class F reversing motor for 120V and 230V applications. Actuators shall be supplied with two primary travel-limiting switches and two standard auxiliary independently adjustable volt-free form A switches rated at 250vac 3A for remote indication of end of travel limits. Actuator positioning shall be via field generated on/off control switching supply voltage feeding the actuator. Actuator gearing shall operate in a permanently lubricated transmission. There shall be no non-metallic gears utilized in the transmission. Enclosure housing shall be grade 383 cast aluminum with tan powder-coating and with type 304SS stainless steel trim. Actuators shall have F05/07 mounting patterns with a 14mm double square female drive socket. Actuators shall provide a bottom-mounted 8mm hex override shaft to allow manual positioning of the actuator upon loss of power. A raised visual position indicator shall provide actuator position information from 360 degrees around the actuator as well as from above the actuator. Actuators shall generate between 310”lbs and 440”lbs continuous torque regardless of supply voltage. The actuator shall be furnished with two (2) ½” EMT polyamide cable glands rated at IP68 protection into the actuator housing. Enclosure shall be rated to NEMA 4/4X/IP67. Operating temperature range shall be from -22°F to +158°F (-30°C to 70°C). Actuators shall be CSA Certified to CSA 22.2 No. 139-10 and listed to UL439 for Ordinary Location Applications. All electric actuators 310”lbs ~ 440”lbs shall be Hayward Flow Control HRSN2 Model and shall carry a Global three (3) year warranty.
Sample Specifications Valve 0
All thermoplastic wafer-style butterfly valves shall be manufactured from PVC Type 1, Grade 1 (ASTM D1784, Cell Classification 12454), CPVC(ASTM D1784, Cell Classification 23447) or glass filled Polypropylene (ASTM D4101, Cell Classification 85580). All valve bodies shall containintegral top mounting flange with dimensions and bolt circles conforming to ISO 5211. Bodies shall contain fully-supported flange bolt holes,be one piece construction and meet ANSI B16.10 narrow face-to-face dimensions in all sizes. If LUGGED butterfly valves are required, lugsshall be over-molded, 316 stainless steel and be the full width of the body. Liners shall be EPDM, Viton® or Nitrile. Liner shall be FULL BOOTdesign, and shall be retained in the body via rib and groove engagement. Liner shall serve as primary disc seal and face seals for mating flanges.Secondary upper bearing and lower seal retainer o-ring seals to be EPDM or FPM. Stem shall be 316 stainless steel, non-wetted and providefull engagement over length of disc. Stem shall have position retention design. All sizes of butterfly valves (2" through 12") shall be pressure-rated for 150 PSI at 70°F non-shock.All butterfly valves shall carry a three-year warranty, and shall be manufactured by Hayward Flow Control products in the USA.
