The Inconel® 622 Plate is a premium nickel-chromium-cobalt-molybdenum alloy known for its exceptional metallurgical stability, strength, and oxidation resistance at high temperatures. With added aluminum for enhanced oxidation resistance, this alloy is ideal for applications in gas turbines, petrochemical processing, heat-treating equipment, and nitric acid production. Its standard plate form boasts a thickness of 0.750 inches (19.05 mm) and a unique composition of 14.2% Molybdenum, 2.3% Iron, 20.5% Chromium, 3.2% Tungsten, and 59.0% Nickel, meeting ASTM specifications ASME SB-575, ASTM B575, and UNS N06622.
