The Invar® 36 Plate is a specialized nickel-iron-chromium alloy designed with copper, molybdenum, and niobium for enhanced corrosion resistance. Ideal for applications in harsh chemical environments, this plate offers exceptional durability against general corrosion, pitting, and crevice corrosion. With a thickness of 0.750 inches (19.05 mm), it conforms to ASTM Specification UNS K93600 and boasts impressive mechanical properties including a tensile strength of 71000 psi, yield strength of 35000 psi, and an elongation capacity of 42%. Operating within a melting temperature range of 2610 ºF (1430 ºC), this plate is perfect for tanks, piping, heat exchangers, and various process equipment.
