The Khamsin™ hanging magnetic sweeper Quick Deployment system to raise and lower the Khamsin™ when needed!Raise and lower easily!The Khamsin™ was designed specifically to pick up and remove ferrous metal debris that causes flat tires such as nails, screws, wire, discarded pieces of metal from fabrication activities, bolts, nuts, pins, miscellaneous metal pieces, lost tools, etc.Use the Khamsin™’s actuators to raise and lower the magnet when needed such as between job sites. Allows the magnet to remain mounted and travel on the highway with it up, and then lower when needed to start sweeping for debris. Also allows very fine tuning of sweeper height not possible with just chains alone.

To start using the magnetic sweeper just lower the Khamsin™ by turning the actuators on each end using a cordless drill so that the bumper wheels are just slightly above the ground.The Bumper wheels are designed to hang slightly above ground but protect the magnet from hitting the ground when truck suspension compresses, or if there are bumps in the road, or when inclines are encountered. Allows you to hang the magnet lower for better performance than would be possible without bumper wheels.Permanently charged C8 Ceramic Magnets provide a strong magnetic field with a maximum lifting height of 9" inches using a 2.5" inch nail.Comes standard with a Quick clean off sleeve which allows quick removal of debris even when mounted under a vehicle. Also comes standard with 6 stabilizing chains.
