The Lewis 1 1/2 to 2 in. Aramid Fiber Ouchless Grip™ is a premium pulling grip designed for overhead or underground operations, ideal for pulling electric or fiber optic cables. Made of tough plastic-coated Aramid fibers, this grip eliminates the risk of wire frays or cuts, ensuring safety during installations. With a work load of 1940 lb and ultimate tensile strength of 3880 lb, it offers exceptional performance. Lightweight, non-conductive, and mesh closing, this grip is easier to load and remove, surpassing traditional metal grips in efficiency and safety. The Ouchless Lewis Grips™ do not have the metallic fraying as traditional Grip do thereby eliminating the chance of being injured from metallic strands that have been abraded. Ouchless Grips™ can also be used when a metallic grip is unsuitable, such as pulling in an energized environment.

Note
When using a pulling grip made of Aramid fibers or metal wire, always tape the bare end of the cable that will be inserted into the grip. This will eliminate a sharp edge exposure and prolong the life of your grip.
