The Lewis HD Ball Bearing Swivel is a heavy-duty solution designed for tension stringing in transmission and distribution line applications. Made from high-grade pre-stressed steel, this swivel ensures the conductor remains in a neutral position during stringing. Lewis swivels can be ordered with screwdriver removable pins or allen wrench removable pins. Standard is screwdriver slotted pins. Lewis Swivels of size 5 and larger are built with Timken and Roller alignment bearings for superior side load capacity, and roller thrust for maximum pulling load & long life. Size 4 and smaller swivels use roller and roller type thrust bearings with ball or non-ball bearing alignment bearings.
