The MARTIN® SAF2™ Secondary Cleaner is a cutting-edge belt conveyor cleaning system designed to efficiently remove carryback without causing damage to the belt, splices, or cleaning edge. Featuring a unique low-pressure 'deflected blade' design, this secondary cleaner is suitable for all types of conveyors, including 'worst-case' belts. With 3" wide blades that require minimal tensioning pressure, the risk of belt damage is minimized, and blade longevity is increased. The compact clamp-mount design allows for flexible installation options, while the no-tool blade replacement feature ensures easy maintenance. Additionally, the SAF2™ is equipped with a hot rolled or 316 SS tensioner that maintains the necessary blade-to-belt pressure for optimal cleaning efficiency, regardless of blade wear.
