The MARTIN® SQC2S™ Secondary Cleaners are designed for belt widths ranging from 18" to 96" and belt speeds up to 700 FPM. Featuring individually-cushioned tungsten carbide blades, these cleaners offer effective belt cleaning while protecting against belt, splice, or blade damage. The compact design allows for installation in tight spaces, with a blade cartridge for easy blade removal. With options such as hot rolled or 316 SS tensioners, these cleaners maintain consistent cleaning pressure for optimal efficiency even with blade wear.

ApplicationMartin Engineering recommends that the MARTIN® SQC2⢠Secondary Belt Cleaner System be installed so the clean ing blade contacts the belt at a point 2 to 4 in. (51 to 102 mm) after the point where the belt leaves the head (discharge) pulley. If obstructions prevent installation at this point, or if additional cleaners are desired, the cleaner should be installed 2 to 4 in.
