The MARTIN® SQC2S™ Secondary Cleaners are designed for belt widths ranging from 18" to 96" and belt speeds up to 700 FPM. With individually-cushioned tungsten carbide blades and rubber blade base buffers, these cleaners offer effective cleaning without causing damage to the belt, splice, or blade. The compact design allows for installation in tight spaces, and the blade cartridge system enables quick blade segment removal for maintenance. ApplicationMartin Engineering recommends that the MARTIN® SQC2⢠Secondary Belt Cleaner System be installed so the clean ing blade contacts the belt at a point 2 to 4 in. (51 to 102 mm) after the point where the belt leaves the head (discharge) pulley. If obstructions prevent installation at this point, or if additional cleaners are desired, the cleaner should be installed 2 to 4 in.
