The MARTIN® SHD 1200 Super Heavy-Duty Pre-Cleaner is engineered for the widest, fastest, and most heavily-loaded belts in the industry. With advanced steel I-Beam frame construction, this pre-cleaner offers effective cleaning, low maintenance, and long lifespan even under extreme conditions. The MARTIN® SHD 1200 features massive urethane blades, constant angle blade design, structural steel beam construction, and reduced maintenance requirements. It is available with corrosion-resistant link tensioner and provides options for standard or high-performance urethane blades.

The MARTIN® SHD Pre-Cleaner is designed for high-speed, high-tonnage conveyors with large diameter head pulleys. It can be applied on any conveyor with a head pulley larger than 24 in. (600 mm) in diameter with sufficient room in the chute to mount the cleaner. Blade Height To achieve constant angle geometry to match pulley diameter, blades are available in two heights. Use 1200 Series MARTIN® SHD Blades for pulleys 48 in. (1200 mm) in diameter and larger. Specify 600 Series MARTIN® SHD Blades for pulleys smaller than 48 in. (1200 mm) in diameter.Tensioning Systems The MARTIN® SHD Belt Cleaner is available with Tumbuckle Tensioners to be installed on both sides of the head pulley.
