Moisture-Resistant Multipurpose Medical Device AdhesiveRapidly bond flexible and rigid plastics typically used in medical device assembly with MD® 1187-M-GEL medical device adhesive. This moisture-resistant, flexible plastics bonder cures in seconds upon exposure to UV/Visible light. The product is ideally suited for the assembly of tube sets, fittings, and reservoirs, as well as drug delivery devices and water carboys. For in-line quality inspection, the material fluoresces blue under low-intensity black light (365 nm). Bondable substrates include PC, PVC, SAN, and PS as well as PET. The adhesive also meets a variety of ISO 10993 biocompatibility approvals.Dymax® MD® Medical Device adhesives have no solvents added and cure upon exposure to light. Their ability to cure in seconds enables faster processing, greater output, and lower processing costs.
