The Mefiag V-Series Oil Absorption Filters are expertly engineered for the efficient removal of oil and grease from cleaning solutions, rinse water, and corrosive liquids. With a robust polypropylene construction ensuring superior corrosion resistance, these filters can withstand temperatures up to 180°F. Designed specifically for degreasing baths, they feature a perforated basket for optimal contact between the filter material and liquid, along with a polypropylene slurry tank option. The hydrophobic meltdown polypropylene media delivers exceptional oil-absorbing capabilities, with a capacity of 1:8-12 for extended degreasing bath lifespan.

Filter Filter
Polypropylene materials are used for the filter chamber, basket, piping and base. The powder coated cover uses EPDM packing and seals. Eyebolts are stainless steel with plastic hand wheels.Absorptive capacity of the media is 1:8-12. (This means that 1 lb. of oil absorbing filter material can absorb 8 to 12 lbs. of grease and dirt resulting in much longer lifetime of your degreasing baths).Bypass is prevented by means of an O-ring seal on the center post at the bottom of the filter chamber.

Mefiag Oil Media (Spaghetti) is Hydrophobic meltdown polypropylene media having best oil absorbing characteristics along with large surface area. Mefiag's oil absorbing media is available in 1, 2, 2.5 or 5 lb. bags for easy change out.
Optional Slurry Tank Optional Slurry Tank
The optional slurry tank is all polypropylene, sized to hold the full liquid capacity of the filter chamber.
