Foliar Applications
Mix recommended amount of Kelp-It™ with sufficient water for good coverage. Apply as a fine mist until foliage is thoroughly wetted. Apply during the cooler parts of the day, from morning to mid-morning or in late afternoon. Do not foliar apply to plants that are moisture or heat stressed, or immediately before or after rainfall or sprinkler irrigation. For best results, use with a mild biodegradable detergent or non-ionic surfactant.
General Application Rates
Apply 1 to 3 pounds per acre starting at regrowth (for perennials) or at planting, with repeat applications every 1-4 weeks. For perennials, post-harvest applications may be continued until dormancy, to prime for growth the following season.
General Use Instructions
Reconstitute Kelp-It™ before use. When reconstituting, use a minimum of 1 gallon of water per pound of Kelp-It™. Kelp-It™ is compatible with most fertilizers and pesticides. Conduct jar compatibility tests as necessary. Store in a cool place and out of direct sunlight.Fill spray or mix tanks with half of required water, and slowly add reconstituted Kelp-It™, other soluble materials, and remaining water under continuous agitation.
