The OSC0485-1600 Oversized Silicone Cap is specially designed for longer or wider threaded and non-threaded studs. With a high-temperature rating of 600°F/315°C, this cap offers superior masking performance for powder coating, E-coating, wet painting, anodizing, and plating applications. Featuring an internal ridge for a secure seal and the option to be vented to prevent movement from pressure build-up, these caps are reusable and ensure precise masking. Selecting an inner diameter (ID) at least 10% smaller than the outer diameter (OD) of the part being masked guarantees a perfect fit, making these caps ideal for industrial and institutional use.
