The Petersen 142-8 Series 8 Inch Monitor Well Plug is expertly designed to seal monitor wells with precision and reliability. It meets all EPA requirements for locking plugs and can seal Schedule 40 piping effortlessly. The plug is equipped with chemical and petroleum-resistant Estaloc™ plastic top and bottom plates, a petroleum-resistant nitrile o-ring, and a sturdy stainless steel carriage bolt for durability. The yellow chromate-coated locking latch adds an extra layer of security, making it an ideal choice for institutional and government procurement needs.

Two tubing series available in some sizes: 15000 psi (1034 bar) and 20000 psi (1380 bar).

Extreme Temperatures Standard Autoclave valves with Teflon packing may be operated from 0°F (-17.8°C) to 450°F (232°C). High temperature packing and/or extended stuffing box are available for service from -423°F (-252°C) to 1200°F (649°C) by adding the following suffixes to catalog order number. TG standard valve with Teflon glass packing to 600°F (316°C). GY standard valve with graphite braided yarn packing to 800°F (427°C). Note: 3/4â rated 8000 psi (552 bar) and 1â rated 6000 psi (412 bar) maximum with graphite yarn packing.â HT extended stuffing box valve with graphite braided yarn packing to 1200°F (649°C). B standard valve with cryogenic trim materials and Teflon packing to -100°F (-73°C). LT extended stuffing box valve with Teflon packing and cryogenic trim materials to -423°F (-252°C). â This packing will affect the pressure rating. Refer to Technical Information section.
