The Precision N-472 PiezoMike Miniature Linear Actuator is designed for precise positioning with a built-in position sensor for closed-loop operation. Its compact design features an integrated incremental encoder ensuring accurate and stable alignment of mechanical and optomechanical components. This self-locking actuator operates on an efficient inertia drive principle, holding positions without generating heat. Vacuum-compatible versions are available, with high holding force and resolution for demanding applications. The integrated position sensor, in conjunction with the E-871 motion controller, provides exceptional motion control with high resolution down to <1 nm.
