The Pyrotex Knit Firesleeve in 7/16 inch size and black color is designed to provide a flame and molten splash resistant barrier for critical components in industrial applications. Made from high-quality texturized fiberglass with a self-extinguishing silicone polymer coating, this firesleeve offers thermal insulation, energy cost reduction, and personnel protection. Pyrotex Firesleeve withstands continuous exposure up to 500ºF and short-term exposure up to 2200ºF, is self-extinguishing and will not burn, or support combustion, and does not emit toxic smoke. This product displays excellent resistance to common industrial, automotive, and marine fluids, and provides lines with good protection against mechanical wear.
