The TROGLOTREK Robotic Sewer Crawler, a quality European-built unit, is one of the only crawler systems capable of inspecting straight 4"(100mm) pipes. This unit combines modern technology to make it portable and lightweight; it can be easily carried to the job site and used without generators or outside power due to its strong Lithium-Ion rechargeable batteries. With a waterproof level of IP68 for the crawler and IP67 for the reel, this configuration excellently suits wet outdoor applications. A 5.6" high-brightness color display is attached to the reel and features a sun shield, controls for the crawler, keyboard, on-screen counter, and a pressure sensor. The 4mm Kevlar cable, with a Vectran strength line, transmits only 5V and three conductor wires, making it efficient, light, and safe to use. Pipes up to 39"(1m) can be inspected without any attachments; additional LEDs and wheels can be mounted for inspecting pipes larger than 39" (1m). The crawler robot, machined from robust solid brass and stainless steel, has brushless motors that provide high torque even at low speeds. A backup camera and LEDs allow quick and easy retraction from the inspection site. Two camera options can be used with this crawler unit, a Pan and Tilt or a Straight View Camera Head. The Pan and Tilt Head has 360° tilt and 285° usable side panning with a manual focus range of 20mm - ∞. The Straight View has a focus range of 100mm - ∞. These camera heads have sensitive CMOS chips with digital clarity enhancements and powerful LEDs that raise the image quality and capability of this unit. A unique magnetic lowering and lifting device allows the crawler to be lifted up or lowered down to hard-to-reach places for inspecting manholes, drainages, pipelines, and mine shafts.
