The Tyco FOSC 600 Fiber Optic Splice Closures in C and D sizes are resilient platforms designed for outside plant applications. Featuring robust sealing systems with gel seal technology and a unique latching mechanism, they accommodate various cable types and sizes. These closures support butt or in-line splicing, with up to 16 cable ports and a splice capacity of up to 96 fibers. The included storage basket can be customized for different configurations, offering versatility and ease of maintenance. Features
Up to sixteen separate cable ports. Sized for cables up to 35mm in diameter and 1728 fibers. Field configurable for butt or in-line splicing. All internal parts can be removed for reconfiguration. Storage basket included with all closures can be extended in length or repositioned vertically depending on application. Slack ribbon storage on the same tray as mass fusion splices is now possible with a new ribbon tray. (see photo) Backed by Tyco Electronics’ extensive network of technical field support specialists.
