Cross belt magnetic separators are used to remove ferrous contaminants (tramp iron such as nuts, bolts, wire, banding, etc.) from the conveyed material. The cross-belt design provides a large coverage area. You get continuous self-cleaning protection. The unit can be mounted over the conveyor section using the four eyebolts secured at the top of the frame. The cross-belt magnetic separator has a durable cleated belt which conveys the ferrous contaminants to the side of the conveyor and are discharged to a collection bin.Frame is structural mild steel,magnet has stainless steel face and mild steel sides and back. Magnetic material creamic V design for optimum reach-out. Top or side mounted 1 hp. 230/460 V. 3 ph. 60 Hz. gear motor with a belt speed of 275 fpm. Available in right or left hand drive.
