The Weatherproof HD6000 Heavy Duty Box is a robust solution designed for the most severe weathertight and watertight installations. Constructed with heavy-walled cast aluminum and wide flanges, this box is ideal for submersion services and can withstand high heads of water, making it suitable for various challenging environments such as flooded manholes, docks, piers, and sub-stations. Equipped with neoprene type packing gasket, plated steel cap screws, and optional special gaskets, this box ensures maximum protection against the elements. It is also suitable for hazardous locations when ordered with specified gaskets and conduit entrances. Interior mounting buttons provide a secure method for mounting panels, relays, and transformers.
