The Weatherproof HD6000 Heavy Duty Cast Iron Surface Mounting Box is engineered for the most demanding weathertight and watertight installations, making it ideal for harsh environments like flooded manholes, docks, and sub-stations. Constructed with heavy cast iron and gasketed for superior protection, this box features four mounting lugs, neoprene gasket packing, and plated steel cap screws. Suitable for submersion service, it remains watertight under high water heads. Compliant with Class II, Groups E, F, and G hazardous locations when equipped with the Vellumoid gasket and bossed conduit entrances. Custom drilling and tapping available at an additional cost.
