The Wichita Kopper Kool Tension Brakes with very high heat capacity are ideal for applications requiring precise control and continuous slip action. Liquid-cooled with copper discs for superior heat dissipation, these airtube disc clutches and brakes ensure accurate tension levels proportional to air pressure. Featuring new friction materials, high thermal capacity, and reinforced neoprene air-tube, the Kopper Kool Tension Brakes offer long service life and efficient heat transfer.

Maximum water jacket inlet pressure is 60 PSI. Brakes with as great as 50 % higher torque capacity is available upon request.For mounting, use socket head capscrews conforming to the ASTM-574-97a.
