The Wichita Kopper Kool Tension Brakes with Very High Heat Capacity are precision-engineered for exceptional heat dissipation, featuring copper alloy wear plates for enhanced heat transfer. Designed with a hub spline for perfect disc alignment, external air and water connections, and reinforced neoprene air-tube for longevity, these brakes offer reliable continuous slip action ensuring accurate and constant web tensioning. With high thermal capacity and optional long stroke air tube available, they provide superior performance in demanding industrial applications.

Maximum water jacket inlet pressure is 60 PSI. Brakes with as great as 50 % higher torque capacity is available upon request.For mounting, use socket head capscrews conforming to the ASTM-574-97a.
