The Wichita Kopper Kool Tension Brakes with very high heat capacity are designed for precise and continuous slip action to maintain constant web tensioning. Featuring a new friction material for improved durability and copper alloy wear plates for enhanced heat transfer, these airtube disc clutches and brakes offer outstanding control and performance. With high thermal capacity and optional long stroke air tube for extended service life, these brakes ensure reliable operation in demanding industrial applications.

Maximum water jacket inlet pressure is 60 PSI. Brakes with as great as 50 % higher torque capacity is available upon request.For mounting, use socket head capscrews conforming to the ASTM-574-97a.
