Featuring a copper disc design for optimal heat dissipation, these airtube disc Clutches and Brakes offer accurate control and continuous slip action for maintaining constant web tension. With copper alloy wear plates, reinforced neoprene air-tube, and high thermal capacity, these tension brakes ensure long service life and reliable performance under high torque loads. Ideal for applications requiring exceptional heat dissipation and precise tension control.

Maximum water jacket inlet pressure is 60 PSI. Brakes with as great as 50 % higher torque capacity is available upon request.For mounting, use socket head capscrews conforming to the ASTM-574-97a.
